The Aces of Skryabin Get Cracked

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Walid Abdi Ali raised to 2,600 and Aleksandr Skryabin from one seat over three-bet to 8,600 in the hijack. Michal Lubas in the cutoff four-bet to 21,000 after some consideration and the players behind them including chip leader Johannes Wassmuth folded.

Ali folded as well, while Skryabin moved all in. Lubas only thought about it for a few moments and called all in for 74,000.

Michal Lubas: {J-Hearts}{J-Clubs}
Aleksandr Skryabin: {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}

On the {K-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{9-Clubs} flop, Ali said "I had king jack, it's a one outer." Neither the {3-Clubs} turn nor the {Q-Diamonds} river improved Lubas and he lost the vast majority of his stack.

"Am I on the Internet Now?"

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Adrian Apmann
Adrian Apmann

Clemens Michaelis raised to 2,400 from early position and called a three-bet to 6,800 by Adrian Apmann in the cutoff. On the heads-up flop of {K-Spades}{J-Spades}{3-Diamonds}, Michaelis checked and called a bet worth 5,100 by Apmann before check-calling a second barrel of 6,800 on the {6-Diamonds} turn.

The {3-Hearts} river paired the board and Michaelis checked the third street in a row. Apmann moved all in and Michaelis called it off for his last 26,500. Apmann turned over the {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs} and Michaelis nodded. As it was an all in showdown, his cards were revealed to be the {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts} and he stood up from the table, ready to leave the tournament area.

Michaelis spotted the live reports next to the action and asked "Am I on the internet now?" before heading to the rail.

Lorenz Busts Oswald

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

With plenty of chips already in the middle and the turn showing {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}, Patrick Lorenz bet enough to push Michael Oswald all in for around 26,000 and the latter called to show {4-Hearts}{4-Spades}. Lorenz only had {K-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}, but the {K-Spades} river came to the rescue and Oswald banged his hand on the table before exiting the tournament area.

Thiessen's Tens Beat Streber

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

The flop read {8-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} and Benjamin Streber had checked from the big blind. Lewe Thiessen bet 3,200 from the hijack. Roberto Manfredi was next to act and decided to fold. Streber called.

The turn brought them the {2-Hearts} on which they both checked. The river completed the board with the {3-Diamonds}, now Streber bet 6,600 which Thiessen called. Streber showed {Q-Spades}{J-Diamonds} for the missed straight draw which was beaten by the {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} of Thiessen as he had a pair of tens.

Valasavicius Loses a Big Flip

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Soon after the players came back from the dinner break, the action kicked off once more and it was Darius Valasavicius that took a big flip for his last 48,000. Tim Becker looked him up with the slightly superior stack and one of the most classic coin flips proceeded:

Darius Valasavicius: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}
Tim Becker: {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}

The board came {K-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{J-Clubs} and that was it for the Lithuanian. Another big stack at the same table is Moussa Khanafer, who fell just behind Becker.
