Zach "KennytheRipper" Gruneberg opened to 4,500 first-to-act and was called by "Styxit_Inyaa" in the small blind and "DDRockstar" in the big blind.
Action checked to Gruneberg on the J♦3♣K♣ flop and he continued for 6,775. Only "DDRockstar" called.
"DDRockstar" check-called a 22,775 bet from Gruneberg on the A♣ turn and a 36,775 bet from Gruneberg on the 4♥ river.
Gruneberg held K♥K♦ for top set, but it was no good against "DDRockstar"'s Q♦10♦ for a straight.

"717BowHunter" limped from middle position, "Jirey86" limped behind from the hijack, and "paperboy545" raised to 6,000 from the cutoff. Both "717BowHunter" and "Jirey86" called.

Players in Day 1 of the main event will start with 300,000 in chips. Blinds will begin at 600/1200 with a 150 ante and will escalate every 15 minutes. Up to five reentries will be available during the late registration period, which ends at 10:30 p.m. local time. Play will end for the day at 1:30 a.m. and the remaining players will continue for Day 2 on October 2 at 6 p.m.
