Ruzicka Making Noise

Vojtech "Vojta_R" Ruzicka
Vojtech "Vojta_R" Ruzicka

Moments after he eliminated Jason "jadedjason" James in 22nd place, Vojtech "Vojta_R" Ruzicka was mixing it up again versus Dani "supernova9" Stern. Stern raised to 55,775 from under the gun and Ruzicka three-bet to 119,999 from middle position. Stern shoved, which prompted a call from Ruzicka, and the {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds} of Ruzicka bested the pocket queens of Stern to give the Czech player a huge boost with the final table slowly approaching.

Sikorski Succumbs to Murariu

Sebastien "p0cket00" Sikorski raised to 52,210 under the gun and action folded around to Dan "dan82mur" Murariu in the big blind. He re-raised to 128,525, prompting a shove for 874,287 from Sikorski.

Murariu called immediately with {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts} and the bullets held up against Sikorski's {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts} when the board ran out {Q-Spades}{7-Clubs}{3-Spades}{4-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}.

Tom "kingsofcards" Marchese opened with a min-raise to 50,000 in early position. Action folded to Kenny "LoneHixx" Hicks in the big blind and he re-raised to 136,000. A four-bet to 235,455 came from Marchese, leading Hicks to five-bet shove with the bigger stack.

Marchese, with 834,910 behind, called all in and tabled {J-Clubs}{J-Spades}. Hicks showed a dominating {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds} and took it down when the board ran out {A-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{A-Clubs}.

Ill-timed Bluff Spells Doom for Gent

Dave Gent - 24th place
Dave Gent - 24th place

Play had slowed considerably at Table 2 until Dave "sexygee" Gent and "tonkaaaa" got involved in a huge preflop battle. Gent opened with a min-raise from middle position and "tonkaaaa" three-bet to 115,223 from the button. Action folded back to Gent, who shoved for just under 1 million, and he found out the bad news when "tonkaaaa" snap-called.

Gent tabled {9-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} and needed a lot of help against his opponent's pocket aces. The {6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} board sent Gent out the door in 24th place and moved tonkaaaa near the top of the leaderboard.
