Rasmussen showed down two kings, but he needed to dodge Thury's straight and flush draws after the 10♥9♥8♦ flop. The Q♠ turn gave Thury his straight and left Rasmussen drawing only to a jack to survive, and he spiked the J♠ on the river to make a higher straight and double up.
"That was amazing," Rasmussen said.

In a blind versus blind battle, Ryan Nickle bet 8,000 on a flop of 8♣3♦2♣ and Randy Smith raised to 25,000. Nickle called, and the J♦ fell on the turn.
Nickle then moved all in, and Smith snap-called for 54,000. He showed 3♣3♠ for a set, while Nickle was on a straight draw holding A♥4♣. The J♣ river was no help, and Smith secured the double up.
"First set I've hit in a week," Smith said.

Law showed 4♥2♥ for two pair, while Wentz had J♥9♥ for top pair. Law was ahead and poised for a double up, but the 9♣ fell on the river to give Wentz a higher two pair.
"Oh my God. How do they hit these miracles?" Law lamented as he shot out of his seat in frustration.
"I didn't deserve that," Wentz said.
