O'Connell Gets Sneaky

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Robert O'Connell raised to 2,000 on the button, Dale McDonough three-bet to 7,000 in the small blind, and O'Connell called.

The flop came A82 and McDonough bet 4,000. O'Connell called, and they both checked the 4 turn.

McDonough also checked the K river, and O'Connell bet 5,000. McDonough quickly called with AQ for top pair, but O'Connell showed AA for top set to win the pot.

Slaubaugh Dislikes Miller

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Brent Slaubaugh bet 3,000 from middle position on a flop of Q2A and was called by Harlen Miller on the button and Wilfred Westerman in early position.

Slaubaugh bet another 5,000 on the 4 turn, and only Miller called this time. The river was the 4 and Slaubaugh reached for more chips as some of his stack of blue 5,000 chips got stuck.

"They don't want to come. That's a sign," Miller told him as Slaubaugh eventually tossed in two of them for a bet of 10,000. Miller called, and Slaubaugh showed A6 for two pair. Miller, though, had 43 for rivered trips to win the pot.

"Harlen Miller. I don't even like that guy," Slaubaugh said with a laugh.
