After three busy opening flights at Jackpot Junction Casino and Hotel, the remaining 86 players will return to action today in the Roughrider Poker Tour $640 Main Event ready to battle for a spot in the money.
The tournament attracted 507 entries over three days, creating a prize pool of $273,780. All of it will be dished out today when action resumes at 11:00 a.m. local time, as the field returns just eight places away from the bubble.
After surviving the money bubble, players will then compete for the $44,600 first-place prize, the custom-made RPT championship bracelet, plus a $10,400 WPT Main Event seat.
Setting the pace from the opening flights was Anthony Scarborough (740,000), who carries a slim lead into action on Day 2. Scarborough led the field on Day 1b, collecting 74 big blinds for the final day.
The largest flight was Day 1c, where Reid Johnson (733,000) and Cody Torke (729,000) finished in a close race for the chip lead. Torke matched Day 1a leader Thai Dinh (729,000), while Charles Kersey (714,000) rounds out the top five with 71 big blinds.

Multiple opening flights bagged up before reaching 15 percent of the field, so the 86 returning players are not yet in the money. Only the top 77 will earn a minimum of $1,000, while a spot at the final table will be worth $6,300.
Play will restart with 21 minutes remaining in Level 16, with blinds continuing at 5,000/10,000 along with a 10,000 big blind ante. Contenders will battle through 40-minute levels, and will receive breaks after every two hours of play. The final day schedule also contains a dinner break, to be confirmed later in the day.
The RPT Jackpot Junction schedule will also see the start of the $250 Trophy Event Second Chance tournament begin at noon local time, with late registration open until 3:30 p.m. for players looking for some extra action on the final day.
