Dinh Traps Himself

Thai Dinh raised to 150,000 in the hijack and AJ Thompson defended from the big blind. The flop came K♦8♣2♦ and both players checked to the A♥ on the turn.

Thompson checked again and Dinh fired out a bet of 200,000. Thompson called and the 3♦ rolled off on the river. Thompson reached back for a bet of 700,000 this time and Dinh instantly called.

Thompson turned over 5♦4♠ for a rivered straight and Dinh couldn't believe he let him get there with 2♥2♣.

"I was trapping you!" Dinh exclaimed. "I trapped myself."
