Prevost and Dillon Fall

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Clarence Prevost
Clarence Prevost

The eliminations have continued to pile up as 73 players now remain, just one elimination away from reaching eight full tables of what is now nine-handed play. Among the most recenet casualties were Matthew Dillon and Clarence Prevost, both of whom filled in the details of their bust outs.

Dillon three-bet an open from Beriz Turnadzic, who called to bring a flop of {k-Spades}{q-Spades}{10-Spades} on board. He then made a half-pot continuation-bet and Turnadzic came over the top for Dillon's remaining chips, which he called.

Dillon: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Turnadzic: {j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

Dillon's top pair, top kicker was ahead of Turnadzic's pair of tens and open-ended straight draw. The turn {7-Clubs} left one card between him and a double, but it fell {a-Hearts} to improve Turnadzic to Broadway.

As for Prevost, he found himself in an all-in preflop scenario with {q-}{q-} against {7-}{7-} and saw a seven hit on the runout to leave him short. Moments later, he got the rest of his chips in with {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} and made Broadway, only to lose to a flush.

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
