Conrad Sucks Out

Level 18 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Chris Conrad
Chris Conrad

PokerNews missed the hand but was colorfully informed by the table as to what went down.

Before the flop, Will Joyner moved all in, followed by a shove over the top by Walker Miskelly. The action was then on RunGood Ambassador Chris Conrad, who went deep into the tank for several minutes.

After a good while, Conrad "**ing tank-called" (as described by Miskelly) and the cards were tabled, with Miskelly covering.

Will Joyner: {j-}{j-}
Chris Conrad: {9-}{9-}
Walker Miskelly: {q-}{q-}

The flop then came out nine high to give Conrad top-set, and it held the rest of the way to give him the massive triple-up.

Rollercoaster for Loch

Level 18 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Bryan Loch opened under-the-gun and was called by Nicholas Henderson in the small blind.

The flop came out {q-Spades}{6-Clubs}{j-Spades} and Henderson led-jammed for around 120,000 and Loch makes the calling, putting Henderson at risk.

Nicholas Henderson: {a-Spades}{7-Spades}
Bryan Loch: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

Loch was ahead with his pair of kings, but the turn {a-Clubs} gave Henderson the lead with his pair of aces. Then as luck would have it, the {10-Diamonds} fell on the river to give Loch a straight to win the pot, eliminating Henderson.

Monaghan Defeats Johnson in Battle Royale

Level 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

After a brief betting war, Charles Johnson and Michael Monaghan found themselves all in before the flop, with Monaghan at risk.

Michael Monaghan: {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Charles Johnson: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

Monaghan was the favorite in this classic flip and the flop of {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}{q-Spades} gave him more security with a set of queens. Johnson could now only hit a ten or running full house to win, but the board completed with {2-Spades}{k-Hearts} to secure Monaghan's victory.

Johnson was then left with barely a big blind and was eliminated soon after.

Chilton Forces Fold in Big Pot

Level 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

On a heads-up completed board of {4-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Spades}{j-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}, there was over 300,000 in the pot when Chriss Babb checked over to Mike Chilton, who bet 125,000.

This sent Babb deep into the tank, weighing his options.

"Man, I just might have to pay you off, Mike," Babb admitted as he counted his chips. After another minute or so, another player called the clock on him and Babb promptly folded. The pot was then pushed to Chilton to boost his stack to over 1,000,000.

Arnold Shoves Turn

Level 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

On a heads-up flop of {q-Clubs}{10-Spades}{a-Clubs}, Bob Kellum made it 50,000 to go but then was raised by Jason Arnold to 150,000.

Kellum went deep into the tank for several minutes before he slid out calling chips.

The two then went to the turn {9-Spades} and Arnold promptly moved all in, totaling 162,000.

After some quick deliberation, Kellum opted on a fold and the pot was pushed to Arnold to boost his stack to 500,000.
