Those outs were working as the 7♠ river gave him a straight to put a tough beat on his stoic opponent.

"I won't die! I'm a f***ing cockroach!" he cheered as the opponent shrugged it off.
"I went with my gut," he said. "We both played it right."

The event attracted a total of 683 entrants, creating a prize pool of $348,330 to smash the $100,000 guarantee.
