Gannon Goes for All of It

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Carl Masters raised to 800 in middle position and was called by Kelly Cortum in the cutoff, Liam Gannon in the small blind, and the player in the big blind.

The flop came KJQ and it checked over to Cortum who bet 1,200. Gannon raised to 4,400 and only Cortum called.

The turn landed the Q and Gannon moved all in to put Cortum at risk who had about 13,000 behind.

After taking some time to think through his decision, Cortum surrendered his hand and the pot was pushed Gannon's way.

After a blind min-raise from the under-the-gun player, Kevin Watson made it 2,000 to go in early position, Liam Gannon flatted in late position, and only the small blind called behind him.

The flop came 1052, the small blind checked, Watson bet 3,500, Gannon called, and the small blind got out of the way.

The turn landed the 3 and Watson slowed down with a check. Gannon fired out a bet of 6,100 and Watson called, bringing the 2 river.

Watson checked again and Gannon moved all in for 11,500 to put himself at risk. Watson found the call and tabled Q10 for two pair, tens and deuces, besting the KQ of Gannon.

Gannon elected to rebuy for a fresh 30,000 starting stack.

The flop of 427 went check-check, bringing the Q turn. Allen led out for 700 and Renaud made the call.

The 7 fell on the river and Allen slowed down with a check. Renaud bet 2,000 and Allen thought for a moment before tossing his cards into the muck.

Renaud final tabled the 2025 RGPS Mission RunGood Council Bluffs back in April, finishing 5th for a score of $15,215. He will look to make another deep run this time around.

Coffin Backdoors His Way to a Flush

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Action went three-ways to a flop of 5K10 in a hand between the under-the-gun player, Mark Coffin in the cutoff, and Michael Esquivel in the small blind.

Esquivel checked, under the gun bet 400, and only Coffin called, bringing the 6 turn. Under the gun bet 1,100 and Coffin called again.

The river landed the 8, under the gun bet 1,200 and Coffin quickly announced a raise to 3,000. Under the gun thought for a moment before making the call.

Coffin tabled A10 for the flush and the pot was pushed his way.
