Zachary Gruneberg opened to 40,000 in middle position, and Chadd Beatty made the call in the cutoff. Patrick Waters came along in the big blind, and the dealer fanned out the 10♠8♣A♠ flop.
All three players checked to see the Q♣ turn, where Waters checked once more. Gruneberg slid out a bet of 60,000, producing folds from Beatty and Waters to claim the pot.
Anthony Potis opened to 40,000 in the cutoff, and Richard Wilburn defended his big blind to see the K♥2♥8♣ flop.
Wilburn checked to Potis, who continued for 20,000. The call was made, and the dealer flipped over the 10♥ turn. Both players checked to the 6♠ river, where another pair of checks followed.
Potis showed 10♦9♣ for a pair of tens, taking down the pot as Wilburn mucked.
After getting a shove through earlier, Jonathan Ares moved all in for 183,000 from early position. Anthony Potis shoved his larger stack from the cutoff, leaving Ares at risk.
Jonathan Ares: K♣J♣
Anthony Potis: A♠A♦
Ares ran into pocket aces, unable to improve on the 9♣6♥8♣3♥J♦ board to seal his exit in ninth place.
Action folded around to Lewis Wolfgang in the small blind, who moved all in for his last 95,000. Richard Wilburn made the call in the big blind, and the hands were turned up.
Lewis Wolfgang: K♠2♠
Richard Wilburn: 9♦7♠
Wilburn found two pair on the K♣7♣9♣3♣6♠ runout, beating Wolfgang's pair of kings to secure the elimination.
