Toledo Sends Out Jones

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Iman Mohtashemi began the hand with a raise to 800 from early position. Jerry Jones responded with a re-raise to 2,200. Jones was called by Lance Austin in the next seat over. Delmiro Toledo got in on the action with a call from the big blind, while Mohteshemi came along with a call also to create a four-handed pot.

Toledo and Mohtashemi checked to Jones, who chose to bet 5,000 on the flop. This cleared out Austin, but Toledo stuck around with a call. Mohtashemi folded.

The A turn led to a check from Toledo, but Jones bet again, this time to the tune of 10,000. Toledo responded with an all-in, and Jones called to put himself at risk.

Jones had the best of it on the flop with a set of kings, but the turn was a disaster for Jones as Toledo spiked a straight to pull ahead.

Jerry Jones began the hand with a limp from middle position before Lance Austin opted to raise to 1,200 from the hijack. His raise was called by Delmiro Toledo in the small blind before Jones got out of the way with a fold.

Toledo checked the 4103 flop before Austin wagered 1,200. Toledo called to see a turn.

The Q turn led to another check from Toledo, but this time Austin decided to bet 5,000. Toledo did not give it much thought before he folded.

Richard Guerra opened the action with a raise to 600 from early position. Matt Boddorf called to send them to a flop.

Guerra continued on the 884 flop, and Boddorf responded with a call.

The 7 caused Guerra to slow down with a check. Boddorf then bet 2,200 before getting called by Guerra.

Both players checked the J river. Boddorf announced two pair, but Guerra also had two pair as he revealed he hit the river when he showed KJ. Boddorf mucked his hand as Guerra was awarded the pot.

Labuga Doubles Through Poirer

This hand was picked up on the completed board of 9104J8.

David Poirer and Adam Labuga got the rest of their chips in the middle with Labuga at risk for his tournament life.

Poirer held J9 for two pair, but it was Labuga who had the best of it as the river gave him a straight as he revealed he had QQ.

Poirer would be left with only 1,100, but received an immediate double following this loss.

Johnson Bests Elkins

The hand began with a raise by Christopher Johnson to 800 under the gun. Christopher Elkins wanted to play for more and. bumped it to 1,500 from the cutoff. Johnson tossed in a call to send them to a flop.

Johnson checked the 486 flop before Elkins bet 2,100. Johnson called to stick along.

The 4 turn saw another check from Johnson before Elkins continued to apply pressure and bet 3,000. Johnson called.

The K fell on the river, and Johnson took the initiative with a bet of 5,000. Elkins mucked his hand as Johnson scooped the pot.
