Rigby Eliminated by Miller
Nicholas Rigby began the bidding with a raise to 2,500 from early position. Honghao Shi called on the button before Warlito Paz made the call from the small blind. David Miller woke up with a hand he wanted to put more chips in the pot from the big blind, and he three-bet to 10,000.
Rigby made the call while Shi and Paz folded to bring the flop of 7♥4♠9♥. Miller put enough chips to put Rigby all-in on the flop. Rigby called off his stack to be at risk.
Nicholas Rigby: 10♣9♦
David Miller: K♦K♣
Rigby needed some help as Miller had the goods with his pocket kings.
The 7♣ turn was bad news for Rigby as it took away his two-pair outs.
The turn would be even more relevant when the 10♦ hit the river to give Rigby a two-pair, but it was no good as Miller's kings and sevens were better to claim the pot and eliminate Rigby from the tournament.
