Netto Wins at Showdown
Level 16
: Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Paul Vang opened to 18,000 from middle position before Mario Ribeiro Netto called out of the small blind and Christopher Rudd made the call out of the big blind.
All three players checked the 3♦8♠4♣ flop to usher in the 7♦ turn. Netto opted to lead for 30,000 and was only called by Rudd.
Both players knuckled the Q♦ river.
Netto showed that he got there on fifth street when he tabled A♥Q♠ for a pair of queens, much to the chagrin of Rudd, who mucked his hand.
