Arthur Peevy checked a 
board from under the gun, and the cutoff bet 6,000 into the 10,000 chip pot. The button folded, and Peevy called.
Peevy flicked in two 5k chips on the 
river for a bet of 10,000. The cutoff, who had just 12,000 behind, shook his head for a moment before folding. Peevy flung the 
face-up on the felt, showing his opponent that he had rivered a straight before collecting the pot.

Alain Candales Falcon raised to 1,200 from the cutoff, and was called by Eric Rivera in the small blind and Katerina Lukina in the big blind.
Action checked to Falcon on a 
flop, and he bet 2,500. Only Rivera called.
Both players checked the 
turn, and Rivera led out for 6,900 on the river. Falcon raised to 15,000, and Rivera tanked for a minute before flicking in calling chips. Falcon rolled over 
for runner-runner trip sixes, and Rivera smirked and showed 
for a flush draw that made the same trip sixes, and their lack of kickers resulted in a chop pot.
Michael Lind had a bet of 20,000 in front of him from the hijack, and with a 
board on the felt, RecPoker founder Steve Fredlund was contemplating a decision with his stack of around 16,000. Fredlund eventually stacked his chips up in a column and slid them in the pot, and Lind tabled 
for top two.
Fredlund winced, then showed for an inferior two pair, and Lind earned the knockout.

A well represented crew was led by John Somsky (32nd - $1,953) and Fredlund (37th - $1,536), while Marvin "Boomer" Schumer took down the Seniors Event for $4,751.
Fredlund hosts a weekly podcast called "Chats", which are described on-site as "engaging conversations with wonderful people in the poker community," and recent guests include many prominent poker figures, such as Kenny Hallaert, Kevin Mathers, and even 2014 WSOP Main Event champ Martin Jacobson. Another weekly podcast called "Forums" is hosted by Jim Reid, and focus on strategy conversations sparked by the extensive threads in the RecPoker forums.
With an array of free content and a supportive community, some of whom have joined up with Fredlund in the "RecPoker House" nearby to attend this week's events, it's easy to see why RecPoker is a well-respected and popular site for engaging poker content.
Fredlund, who fired and busted in yesterday's Day 1a flight, is back in action today, and we'll keep an eye on him and the rest of the RecPoker Road Trip crew all day long.
