Break Time

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante

Players are now on their second 15-minute break of the day. When they return they'll play two more levels before being sent on a 40-minute dinner break, during which time the T100 chips will be removed from play.

After that, the plan is to play through Level 14 before bagging and tagging on the Day 1a flight.

Godoroja Shoves on Beckley

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante
Josh Beckley (left) and Ion Godoroja.

There was approximately 7,500 in the pot and a flop of {3-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{8-Clubs} when Josh Beckley, who you might recall finished runner-up to Joe McKeehen in the 2015 World Series of Poker Main Event for more than $4.4 million, checked from the lojack.

Ion Godoroja did the same from the hijack and the player on the button followed suit to bring about the {a-Clubs} on the turn.

Beckley led out for 5,000, Godoroja called, and the button got out of the way. When the {5-Diamonds} completed the board on the river, Beckley bet 8,200 and left himself 17,300 back. Godoroja responded by moving all in and Beckley thought about it for over a minute before ditching his hand.

Coustillas Hooks Herself a Pot

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante
Bernadette Coustillas
Bernadette Coustillas

With around 6,000 in the pot and six players in action, the two blinds checked a {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{q-Spades} flop and Bernadette Coustillas bet 1,200 from the under-the-gun position.

Only the players in the hijack and big blind called and then all three players checked when the {3-Hearts} turn put three hearts on board.

When the {5-Spades} peeled off on the river, the big blind checked and Coustillas bet 2,000. Only the hijack called and asked, "Do you have a queen?"

Coustillas didn't but instead rolled over the {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}. That was good enough as the player in the hijack mucked his hand.

Rodriguez Building Heaps

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante
Carlo Rodrigues
Carlo Rodrigues

On a flop of {j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}, Deborah Muha and another player got their stacks all in against Carlo Rodriguez, who was sitting with a big pile of chips.

Muha: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}
Rodriguez: {4-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
Opponent: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}

Rodriguez had a flush draw and he didn't waste any time in completing it as the dealer burned and turned the {3-Hearts}. the {q-Hearts} river put a flush on board but Rodriguez's was best to send to opponents to the rail.

Muha immediately headed to the registration desk to re-enter the tournament.

Quintana Gives It Up on the Turn

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

After a player limped from middle position and Ariel Quintana raised to 1,500 from the cutoff, William Crawford three-bet it to 4,300 from the big blind.

The limper got out of the way, Quintana called, and action went check-check on the {k-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{j-Hearts} flop.

When the dealer burned and turned the {k-Diamonds} to pair the board, Crawford opted to bet 5,000 and Quintana wasted little time in releasing his hand.
