On the river of a 9♣4♣2♣3♦6♠ board, Paul Tirnovean block-bet out of the small blind for 21,000. Patrick Clarke raised it up to 87,000 and was reluctantly paid off to reveal his A♣8♣ for the flopped nut flush from under the gun.
Tirnovean flashed his 9♦9♥ for top set and the Irishman said "that could have been a lot more". Tirnovean said Clarke was capable of raising with a blocker and didn't give him a five, unless it was perhaps ace-five.
