Criego Adding More

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

A player in the big blind bet 3,500 into Bill Criego on a board of {3-Hearts}{q-Spades}{k-Hearts}{8-Hearts}, and Criego raised to 10,000. His opponent called, and the river brought a {9-Hearts}, putting a four-flush on board. Criego bet another 10,000 after he was checked to, and his opponent mucked after about 30 seconds.

Criego Collects Boone's First Bullet

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

We found Jim Boone check-shoving all in for about 14,000 after Bill Criego bet 3,000 on a {4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop. Criego made the call.

Criego: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Boone: {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}

Boone got out of his seat, and he missed his two outer as the {j-Hearts} then {4-Hearts} hit the board.

Updated Chip Counts

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Dougherty Doubles Through Laney

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

After an early-position open to about 900, Scott Dougherty made it 1,700 to go from the cutoff. Herb Laney repopped to 4,000 on the button, and the original raiser folded. Dougherty came back with 5,000 more, and Laney quickly called. After the {8-Spades}{j-Spades}{9-Spades} flop, Dougherty shoved all in, and Laney got a count: 25,775.

"I'll show ya," Dougherty said. "I guarantee I'm ahead."

"Boy, I wish I didn't have such a good hand," Laney responded.

Eventually, he made the call.

Laney: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Dougherty: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}

Dougherty's guarantee proved correct, and he faded the few outs Laney had as the {8-Diamonds} and {j-Diamonds} harmlessly double-paired the board.

Sandness Collects Bluff Shove

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante
Mark Sandness caught someone trying to steal the pot.
Mark Sandness caught someone trying to steal the pot.

Big blind Mark Sandness bet 4,500 on the end as the board had come {4-Hearts}{9-Spades}{q-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}, and his opponent shoved all in for 7,650 more. Sandness looked pained but dropped in a call, and his opponent shook his head, showing {a-Clubs}{7-Spades} for an airball. Sandness turned over {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} for top pair.

Mader's Rags Take One

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

Phil Mader bet 1,500 on a board of {8-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} from the small blind, and his opponent seemed to think for a bit before making it 4,000 from under the gun. Mader wasted little time calling, and a {q-Diamonds} hit. Mader checked, and his opponent bet 5,000.

"I guess you have a set of eights?" Mader said before making the call.

He was way off, as his opponent showed {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for bottom pair, which Mader's {10-Hearts}{5-Spades} for two pair easily beat.
