Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

Brandon Jones bet 2,000 from the cutoff after a single opponent checked to him on an {a-Clubs}{6-Spades}{k-Hearts} flop. After Jones' opponent called, both players checked the {4-Spades}, and a {k-Spades} fell. The middle-position player checked, and Jones tossed 5,000 out, half of his stack.

"Ahhh, man," Jones' opponent said. "Do you have a king man?"

The player tossed out a call, and Jones did indeed have a king, though he had {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} for a boat. His opponent flipped {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}.

Players are on their first 10-minute break of the day.

Bad River for Jones

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

Ken Auker led out with 750 from the big blind on a flop of {10-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{7-Hearts}, and Jarrett Jones made it 1,750 from middle position. Auker called, and he check-called another 2,550 on the {q-Diamonds} turn. The {2-Hearts} made it a four-flush on board, and Jones checked it back, showing {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for a flopped flush and sighing with relief that Auker hadn't caught up on the end.

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

A player in the big blind bet 1,200 into a multi-way pot on a board of {5-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{9-Spades}, and David Snitkin made the call from early position. Two others folded, and a {3-Clubs} hit the felt. The big blind bet 2,000, and Snitkin quickly called. The big blind showed {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} for top-top, but Snitkin easily had it beat with {j-}{j-} for a set.
