Speaking of Mid-States Poker Tour Ho-Chunk final tablists, Jun Kim was spotted grinding at Table 15. In a recent pot, he bet 600 after two checks on a 
board, and both opponents called. Everybody checked the turn, and two more checks followed the river. Kim bet 1,100, and his opponents quickly folded.
Kim banked $14,723 for a sixth-place finish two weeks ago.
Big blind Ryan Jefferson bet 750 with the board reading 
on fourth street, and he got one caller before another player folded. On the 
river, Jefferson fired again, this time for 1,600, and his opponent thought briefly before folding.
Jefferson finished third at Mid-States Poker Tour Ho-Chunk two weeks ago, banking $35,335 in the process.
Cash Carpenter opened for 375 and got one caller, and James Mackey made it 1,050. Carpenter folded when action got back to him, and the caller came along.
Mackey bet 1,025 on the 
flop, and his opponent made the call. An 
hit the turn, and the player fired out 1,025, which Mackey called. Action went the same on the river, and the first player showed 
for a turned top pair. Mackey flipped 
face up before mucking.

We found Mark Sandness agonizing over an all-in shove from Matt Morfitt on a 
board.
"Well, it is the rebuy period," he said as he stood up before dropping his stack into the middle.
Morfitt tabled 
for a turned boat, and Sandness smacked his cards together disgustedly before showing 
, meaning the card that gave Morfitt his full house also gave Sandness a straight. He headed off, presumably to the registration desk.
According to the players at Table 12, Aaron Johnson just busted two players when he flopped a set kings and managed to get all in against a player with a set of sixes and another player who had the nut flush draw. Johnson's hand held, and he has a very nice early stack two weeks after cashing in Mid-States Poker Tour Ho-Chunk.
We found Barry Reuther betting 5,000 on the river with the board reading 
. His opponent, who had checked, raised to 15,000, and Reuther snap-called.

A slew of familiar faces have returned from yesterday and past Mid-States Poker Tour events.
