Garles Won't be Bullied

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante
Tim Garles
Tim Garles

Action folded to the cutoff player who raised to 1,500 and Tim Garles defended his big blind to see a {3-Spades}{2-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop.

Garles check-raised to 3,000 after his opponent continued for 1,300 and was faced with a 7,500 three-bet.

After some careful thought, Garles tossed out a 28,000 four-bet which was enough to put his opponent all in and they quickly mucked their hand.

Garles rolled over {6-Spades}{6-Hearts} and raked in the pot.

Buell Sets Up Steele for Double

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante
Steve Buell
Steve Buell

There was heads-up action after a {4-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop between Steve Buell from the cutoff and MSPT Hall of Famer Pat Steele from the button.

Buell led out for 6,500 and Steel called bringing the {9-Clubs} turn. Buell fired out another bet of 7,000 and Steel called to see the {5-Clubs} complete the board on the river.

Buell continued with his aggression and moved all-in for 10,500 and Steele reluctantly called. Buell showed {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} for a set of aces and Steele mucked {k-}{k-} face up.
