Chiappone Sends Two Packing in a Cooler

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Rob Chiappone
Rob Chiappone

The cutoff open-jammed for 33,000, Rob Chiappone came over the top from the small blind and the big blind called off their 45,000 stack.

Cutoff Player: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Big Blind Player: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Rob Chiappone: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}

Each player held a premium hand, but Chiappone held the best one and the {6-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{5-Hearts}{10-Hearts} runout sent both his opponents to the rail.

Rice Delivers Knockout Blow to Jansen with Quad Aces

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Loren Rice
Loren Rice

Action on the table folded to WSOP bracelet winner Bradley Jansen who raised all in for a rough starting stack from the button and Loren Rice snap-called from the big blind.

Bradley Jansen: {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}
Loren Rice: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}

Jansen didn't like who what he saw as Rice woke-up with ace in the big blind and the {2-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} flop didn't change a thing.

The {a-Spades} turn left Jansen drawing dead as it gave rice a set of aces and the dealer dropped the {a-Diamonds} on the river just for good measure.

Williams Drops One with Cowboys

Level 10 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Darren Williams
Darren Williams

Darren Williams raised to 6,000 from under the gun and found two callers that saw a {2-Spades}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop.

Williams continued for 15,000 only to have the cutoff raise all in for 49,000.

The button player quickly folded their hand while Williams snap called.

Opponent: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Darren Williams: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}

Both players held an over pair in their hand, but Williams held the better one and neither the {j-Clubs} turn nor the {8-Spades} river changed a thing as he eliminated his opponent from the tournament.

Echols Takes from Fielder

Level 10 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Darnell Echols
Darnell Echols

Action folded to Jeff Fielder who raised to 4,000 from the hijack and only Darnell Echols called from the cutoff.

The {6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{q-Clubs} flop saw Fielder continue for 3,500 and Echols called bringing the {6-Spades} turn.

Fielder check-called the 6,000 bet from Echols and then did the same for 11,000 after the {8-Diamonds} completed the board on the river.

Echols quickly rolled over {a-Clubs}{q-Spades} for queens and sixes and it was good enough to scoop the pot.
