Chino Isn't Scared

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
Chino Rheem
Chino Rheem

After coming into the pot from early position, Chino Rheem was facing a three-bet to about 6,000 from Andrew Watson. Rheem fired in a reraise to about 15,000, and Watson thought a bit and folded. Rheem tossed the {2-Diamonds} into the middle.

"I'm not scared," he said. "I had the best hand, though."

He revealed the {2-Clubs} and then raked in the pot.

All-In Bluff Wins for Rogers

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Ryan Rogers bet 9,000 from middle position on a board of {4-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}, and Ben Zamani folded in the cutoff. A player in the big blind called, and the river was the {j-Clubs}. The first player checked and Rogers shoved all in for 18,525. The big blind tanked a bit and called, and Rogers indicated he was ready to muck his cards. When the big blind didn't show, Rogers flipped {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} into the middle and his pair of jacks on the river was a winner.

Young Turns 'Em Dead

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

We found a monster pot brewing at a table in the corner of the room, where a player in the hijack appeared to have bet 5,400 only to see a player in the small blind call and Tyler Young make it 14,000 in middle position. The hijack jammed for 45,000, and the small blind agonized awhile then called it off for what looked like around 30,000. Young snap-called too.

Young: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}
Hijack: {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}
Small blind: {7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}

The small blind was pleased to see his draws were live, but an {a-Diamonds} turn left everyone dead to Young's quads.

Grubaugh Makes the Call

Level 8 : 400/800, 100 ante

Collin Grubaugh had a three-bet of 5,400 in front of him in the small blind and was facing the all-in shove of a player in middle position for about 25,000. Grubaugh splashed in a call and was pleased to see his {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} were good against {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs} for the moment. A board of {10-Clubs}{5-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{8-Clubs} was ace-free and he dragged the pot.
