Gibralter Doubles Through Kuether

Following a {9-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop, action was on Jeff Gibralter facing a decision for 30,500 from Joe Kuether. After a few moments, Gibralter shoved for 139,500. Kuether called instantly with {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}, leading Gibralter's {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}.

The {5-Diamonds} turn changed nothing, but the {8-Diamonds} river fell to give Gibralter a straight and the huge double up.

Kuether Over 300k

We found Joe Kuether and an opponent looking down at a board of {3-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{J-Spades}. Kuether moved out a bet of 42,000 into what was a pot that was already at least 90,000.

Kuether's opponent finally opted to fold and Kuether was awarded the pot, thus padding his stack even more. Kuether is now sitting over 300,000 in chips.

Gardenhire Busts Henson

Justin Gardenhire opened to 6,000 under the gun and action folded around to Ray Henson in the big blind. He re-raised all in for about 34,000 and Gardenhire called.

Showdown
Henson: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}
Gardenhire: {Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

The {10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} flop gave Gardenhire extra outs to a straight and he picked up even more outs when the {7-Hearts} turn gave him a flush draw. The {Q-Spades} hit the river, paring Gardenhire's queen to eliminate Henson.

Vaillancourt Above 200k

With a call from the player in the hijack before him, Noah Vaillancourt raised to 7,100 on the button. The player in the small blind three-bet jammed for 30,900, the hijack folded, and Vaillancourt called with {Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}, not far behind his opponent's {A-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}.

The board ran out {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{9-Clubs} as Vaillancourt spiked two pair on the river to score the knockout.

Hwang Powers Through Henson

With well over 20,000 already in the pot and the board reading {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{3-Clubs}, Andy Hwang checked over to Ray Henson who bet 8,800. Hwang called and the {a-Clubs} peeled off on fourth street.

Hwang checked for a second time and Henson counted out 15,300 and pushed the stack into the middle. Hwang moved a large stack of orange t5,000 chips into the middle and this was a bet that was enough to put Henson all in. Henson quickly let go of his hand and Hwang was pushed the pot.

Wright Or Wrong

Larry Wright has recently been eliminated. He was seen walking away from the tournament area and the only audible phrase we could hear him muttering was "Unbelievable..."
