Four-Bet by Mustafov

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

The action started rather innocent with a raise to 600 by Fahredin Mustafov and a call by Aleksandar Tomovic. Maxim Lykov had other plans and three-bet to 3,000 before the action folded back to Mustafov. The Bulgarian four-bet to 10,100 and that was enough to claim the pot without any further resistance.

"This Is Why I am Lucky"

Gregor Greko

Over on the second table the three-way flop of {K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{6-Clubs} featured a bet of 600 by Seyed Zadeh and a call by Gregor Greko, while Pierre Neuville folded. On the {9-Diamonds} turn, Zadeh bet 1,200 and was called before the duo checked the {9-Clubs} river. Zadeh chopped with {Q-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} versus {Q-Spades}{10-Spades} and Greko was all smiled, adding "this is why I am lucky."

One hand later, a four-way flop of {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{5-Spades} saw Greko bet 1,050 and just Rafal Nikiel called. The {9-Spades} turn was checked and Greko bet the {K-Clubs} river for 3,500. Nikiel called and Greko showed {7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for the flopped full house.

Nikiel got most of the chips back the next hand, though. Robert Schulz raised to 450 and Nikiel three-bet to 1,550. Pierre Neuville called on the button, as did initial raiser Schulz. On the {7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop, Schulz checked and subsequently folded while Nikiel bet 3,500 and picked up a call by Neuville. Nikiel bet the {6-Clubs} turn for 8,000 and that shut down all further action.

Neuville Leaves Meiri with Crumbs

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante
Pierre Neuville
Pierre Neuville

Pierre Neuville raised to 525 from early position and Aviv Meiri mistakenly re-raised to 1,025. The action was folded back to Neuville who took advantage and put in a four-bet to 4,725. Meiri stuck around to see the flop of {7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades}.

Neuville continued for 6,000 and Meiri called. The turn was the {4-Diamonds} and Neuville bet 8,000. Meiri called again and the {j-Clubs} landed on the river. Neuville put together a bet of 6,700 and Meiri quickly called. Neuville tabled {q-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and after looking at his cards repeatedly, Meiri finally pushed them forward face down. Neuville raked in a big pot, leaving Meiri hanging on by a thread.

While the hand was going on, Markus Kuhnen, another German player, took his seat to the right of Neuville.

Aviv Meiri

On the tail end of a hand between Pierre Neuville and Aviv Meiri, the latter bet 1,125 on the river of a board {10-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts}{8-Spades}{K-Diamonds}. Neuville called and Meiri showed the {A-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}, which ended up second best to Neuville's {10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}.

Right after, Meiri took on Gregor Greko and he check-called a bet of 550 by Greko on the {9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop. Both checked the {7-Diamonds} turn and the {5-Spades} river completed the board. Meiri bet 2,100 and Greko called to claim the pot with {A-Diamonds}{4-Spades} versus {8-Spades}{7-Spades}.

Nikiel Doesn't Believe Neuville

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante
Rafal Nikiel
Rafal Nikiel

Rafal Nikiel limped in and Pierre Neuville in the cutoff raised to 800, which Nikiel called. On the {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}, Nikiel bet 1,350 and Neuville called before the action was checked to the Belgian on the {4-Diamonds} turn. Neuville bet 2,150 and Nikiel called before checking again the {7-Hearts} river with a loud thump on the table.

Neuville bet 7,550 and Nikiel called to see his opponent turn over {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}, which Nikiel had beat with the {9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}.

Flush Over Flush for Tomovic

Aleksandar Tomovic

With around 3,000 in the middle, the board read {a-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. Erez Hamerov led out for 1,800 from the big blind and was called by Aleksandar Tomovic in early position.

The river brought the {5-Diamonds}, putting four diamonds on the board. Hamerov checked this time and Tomovic made a bet of 6,500. Hamerov couldn't let his hand go, making the call and seeing the bad news. Tomovic tabled {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} for the nut flush and Hamerov flashed {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} before his cards hit the muck.

Pierre Neuville and Fabrice Halleux have walked in the King's Casino together and taken their seats at separate tables. Neuville, a 2015 November Niner, has over $4.3 million in career earnings. Halleux, on the other hand, has a little under $200,000 in earnings but will be looking to improve on that this coming week.
