The action started rather innocent with a raise to 600 by Fahredin Mustafov and a call by Aleksandar Tomovic. Maxim Lykov had other plans and three-bet to 3,000 before the action folded back to Mustafov. The Bulgarian four-bet to 10,100 and that was enough to claim the pot without any further resistance.
Over on the second table the three-way flop of 
featured a bet of 600 by Seyed Zadeh and a call by Gregor Greko, while Pierre Neuville folded. On the 
turn, Zadeh bet 1,200 and was called before the duo checked the 
river. Zadeh chopped with

One hand later, a four-way flop of

Nikiel got most of the chips back the next hand, though. Robert Schulz raised to 450 and Nikiel three-bet to 1,550. Pierre Neuville called on the button, as did initial raiser Schulz. On the 
flop, Schulz checked and subsequently folded while Nikiel bet 3,500 and picked up a call by Neuville. Nikiel bet the turn for 8,000 and that shut down all further action.
Hossein Ensan, Robert Schulz and Fahredin Mustafov joined the competition in quick succession to boost the field to 17 entries.
Pierre Neuville raised to 525 from early position and Aviv Meiri mistakenly re-raised to 1,025. The action was folded back to Neuville who took advantage and put in a four-bet to 4,725. Meiri stuck around to see the flop of

Neuville continued for 6,000 and Meiri called. The turn was the 
and Neuville bet 8,000. Meiri called again and the 
landed on the river. Neuville put together a bet of 6,700 and Meiri quickly called. Neuville tabled and after looking at his cards repeatedly, Meiri finally pushed them forward face down. Neuville raked in a big pot, leaving Meiri hanging on by a thread.
While the hand was going on, Markus Kuhnen, another German player, took his seat to the right of Neuville.

With around 3,000 in the middle, the board read 
. Erez Hamerov led out for 1,800 from the big blind and was called by Aleksandar Tomovic in early position.
The river brought the , putting four diamonds on the board. Hamerov checked this time and Tomovic made a bet of 6,500. Hamerov couldn't let his hand go, making the call and seeing the bad news. Tomovic tabled 
for the nut flush and Hamerov flashed before his cards hit the muck.
There are now 12 players registered and the last two entries were Maxim Lykov and Pavel Plesuv. Lykov has more than $3.3 million in cashes and Plesuv just scored his biggest payday on the live circuit after winning one of the €25,500 Single-Day High Rollers at the PokerStars Championship Barcelona for €406,300.
Pierre Neuville and Fabrice Halleux have walked in the King's Casino together and taken their seats at separate tables. Neuville, a 2015 November Niner, has over $4.3 million in career earnings. Halleux, on the other hand, has a little under $200,000 in earnings but will be looking to improve on that this coming week.
