Burns Takes From Aerts

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

The board read {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} with around 45,000 in the middle already.

Simon Burns had checked from the middle position and Kees Aerts bet 21,000 which Burns called.

The river completed the board with the {j-Spades} and they both checked. Burns tabled {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} for a set of nines and that was enough to scoop the pot as Aerts mucked his hand.

Hasson Halted by Farag

Level 14 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

In the first hand. Emanuele De Lemmi raised from the hijack and Gary Hasson called on the button. The flop came {5-Spades}{8-Clubs}{10-Clubs}, De Lemmi continued with a bet of 8,500 which was called. They both checked through the {6-Hearts} on the turn to the {2-Spades} on the river. De Lemmi bet 13,500 and that was enough for Hasson to fold to.

A few hands later, the flop read {6-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}, Hasson shoved for just over 10,000 and was called by Edwin Tournier in the big blind. Fadhil Farag shoved too in the hijack and Tournier now folded.

Gary Hasson: {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Fadhil Farag: {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

Hasson was sitting on a flush draw while Farag held top pair.

The rest of the board was completed wit the {9-Diamonds} on the turn and the {8-Spades} on the river to not help Hasson as he was sent to the rail.
