Javier Takes From Hyden

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Action was picked up on the turn with the board reading {j-Clubs}{4-Spades}{k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}. Kevin Javier bet 100,000 and was called by Christopher Hyden.

The river was the {6-Hearts}. Javier bet again, this time for about 240,000. Hyden called after about 15 seconds.

Javier showed the {j-Clubs}{4-Hearts} for two pair which was good as Hyden mucked and dropped his stack low.

Ray Sends Mitchell Away

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Four players were on the flop as the board read {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{k-Spades}. Action checked all the way around to the turn which came the {10-Spades}.

Brian Ray bet 125,000. Butchie Mitchell moved all in for around 700,000 over the all in. The other two players quickly departed from the hand. Ray thought for about 15 seconds before he called.

Mitchell was in trouble with the {a-Spades}{10-Clubs} up against the {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts} of Ray.

The river could not save Mitchell as it came the {3-Diamonds} and he was eliminated in 30th place.

Balzano's Shove Gets Through

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Multiple players saw a flop come {q-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}. Patrick Serda bet 125,000 which thinned the field to Paul Balzano who moved all in for his remaining 465,000.

Serda folded after about 30 seconds to give Balzano a boon to his stack.

Patsourakis Sends Owens On His Way

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

The turned board had a jack and an eight face-up when Michael Owens moved his stack into the middle. Ioannis Patsourakis snap-called and Owens tabled a set of eights.

Patsourakis quickly turned over a set of jacks and the river was a blank, sending the pot to Patsourakis and Owens hit the payout desk.

Kempton Terminates Another

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

In a preflop all in, Isaac Kempton held the {q-Spades}{10-Hearts} against the short stacked Tom Nguyen who held the {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}.

The flop came harmless to Nguyen as the dealer spread {7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}. The turn was the {5-Diamonds} to pair the board. And the river sent Nguyen home via a counterfeit as the {k-Clubs} peeled off to give Kempton the better kicker with the two pair on the board.

Serda Shreds Two With Queens

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

There was a bombastic three-way all in in progress as Patrick Serda was looking to score a double knockout holding {q-}{q-}.

He was facing off against two ace-king's, one of Alex Rocha and one held by Frederico Dabus.

The board would keep the queens dominant as it ran out {2-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{q-Clubs} and just like that the field was trimmed by two more while Serda surged back up toward the very top.

Farah Takes it on the Shin

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Mike Shin
Mike Shin

Five players saw the flop come {7-Spades}{a-Spades}{3-Spades}. Mike Shin was in position and after it checked to him he bet 60,000. That folded out two players before it got to Joshua Farah who moved all in for 500,000 from under the gun. The player behind him folded and it was back to Shin for the decision.

Shin got a count and called after a few seconds. Farah turned over the {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} for top pair but was in big trouble vs the {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs} two pair of Shin.

The turn gave Shin a boat as the {7-Hearts} peeled off and the {9-Spades} on the river was the last card Farah would see in the tournament.

Isaac Kempton
Isaac Kempton

Isaac Kempton opened to 155,000 from the cutoff and Stephen Nussrallah three-bet to 405,000 from the button. Kempton four-bet shoved and Nussrallah called his 900,000 stack into the middle.

Stephen Nussrallah: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Isaac Kempton: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}

The board came down {7-Clubs}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and Kempton's cowboys took down the pot, eliminating Nussrallah from the tournament.
