Sitton Makes Right River Call

Level 9 : 400/800, 800 ante

The board had run out to read {j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{8-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs}. Hank Sitton was facing a river bet of 7,000. After thinking for a couple of moments he called.

His opponent shook his head and flopped over the {q-Spades}{7-Spades} for nothing while Sitton showed the {a-Spades}{10-Spades} for second pair, enough to take the pot.

Three players were in a hand with the flop reading {8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. All three players had committed 3,200 to the pot as the dealer collected the chips to the middle.

Rossitto Collects Double

Level 7 : 300/500, 500 ante

Three players were on the turn as the board read {4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}. The first player led out with a bet 1,500. The second player called.

Michael Rossitto was in postion on the button and raised to 5,200. The first player folded while the second player studied Rossitto as Rossitto looked at his phone and called.

The river came the {4-Spades}. After a check, Rossitto casually moved all in for 15,500 and went back to studying his phone. His opponent called after a few seconds. Rossitto did not immediately realize he had been called as he was not watching his opponent's action but eventually he showed the {a-Spades}{7-Spades} and his opponent mucked.
