In a battle of 2012 World Series of Poker bracelet winners, Carter Phillips (Event #31 champion) just bested Leif Force (Event #3 champion) in a pot.

Force started the action with a raise to 1,000 in middle position and Phillips three-bet from the big blind to 3,000. A call from Force landed a {Q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop.

Phillips bet 3,500, Force called, and the {Q-Spades} hit the turn. Phillips bet 6,625 this time, but again Force tagged along to see the {6-Clubs} river. Phillips shoved this time, having Force slightly covered. It didn't take long for Force to give it up, awarding the pot to Phillips.
