Pedraza Snags One

Joshua Pedraza raised it up to 55,000 from middle position, a bet that was only able to convince Michael Gagliano to join for a flop.

The flop came {3-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and Pedraza continued for 85,000. Gagliano made the call and both players were witness to the {6-Clubs} on the turn. Pedraza slowed down with a check, and Gagliano bet out 120,000. Pedraza took his time before moving all in and Gagliano snap folded.

The First Hand Goes to Lipsey

Bradley Lipsey raised to 48,000, Joey Weissman three-bet to 100,000 and Lipsey made the call. The flop was {10-Diamonds} {9-Spades} {4-Diamonds} and Lipsey check-raised to 270,000 after Weissman had bet 120,000. Back to Weissman and he made the call and we moved onto the turn. The dealer laid down the {A-Spades} on the felt and both players checked. The final card was the {3-Diamonds} and Weissman bet 400,000 once checked too, Lipsey thought for a while and made the call and it was good.

William Reynolds Eliminated in 10th Place ($38,716)

William Reynolds - 10th place
William Reynolds - 10th place

The recently crippled William Reynolds moved in for his last 120,000 after Michael Gagliano raised it up preflop. Gagliano quickly made the call and cards were tabled.

Reynolds: {K-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Gagliano: {A-Spades}{j-Hearts}

The flop came {Q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} giving Gagliano a pair of jacks, but not the best hand. Reynolds still held on to the lead, but the {A-Hearts} on the turn saw that evaporate. The {8-Diamonds} on the river was no good, and we had our 10th place finisher.

Break Time

Level 25 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Williams Reynolds has been eliminated (report to follow) meaning we now have our final table of nine players. There will be a short break for introductions and we will be right back.

Reynolds Triples Up On The River

A very dejected Williams Reynolds has just been told to get back in his chair. Reynolds thought he was out after that last hand against Brito, but instead he has 22,000 chips left. Hs duly takes his seat and when the action folds around to him he plonks them into the middle. A few folds later and Joshua Pedraza made an isolation raise to 55,000 but Bradley Lipsey also wanted to join in the fun from the big blind.

Flop: {K-Spades} {A-Clubs} {4-Clubs}

Pedraza bet 75,000 and Lipsey folded. So we had a showdown and when the cards were turned over, Reynolds bad luck had seemingly followed him into this hand.

Reynolds{A-Spades} {8-Clubs}
Pedraza{A-Diamonds} {J-Hearts}

The turn was the {4-} but the river {8-Diamonds} handing Reynolds two pair and one last breath of oxygen.

Reynolds Crippled

The flop read {A-Hearts}{10-Spades}{j-Hearts} and action was on William Reynolds who checked. Fernando Brito was the other player in the hand and he opted to move all in for around 450,000. Reynolds took a few seconds and made the call.

Reynolds: {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Brito: {J-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

Reynolds held bottom two pair while Brito had middle set. Reynolds was basically done, but anything can happen. The {5-Spades} on the turn sealed the deal and the {5-Clubs} on the river only rubbed it in. Brito had 25,000 less chips than Reynolds so Reynolds is in with barely one big blind.

Stephen Reynolds Eliminated in 11th Place ($38,716)

Stephen Reynolds - 11th place
Stephen Reynolds - 11th place

Joe Gualtieri opened and made it 40,000. Joey Weissman was next to join and placed the call from the button. Stephen Reynolds in the big blind moved all in for around 520,000. Gualtieri took his time deciding if he wanted to call, but in the end he opted to fold.

Weissman immediately made it clear that he didn't think Reynolds was very strong. After a few more seconds went by Weissman made the call.

Weissman: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}
Reynolds: {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The board came {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{j-Hearts}{10-Spades} and after an initial scare on the turn, Weissman was awarded the pot with a broadway straight.
