A Quarter?

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Four players limped into the pot, as the flop came down {8-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{K-Spades}. Marco Johnson checked from the big blind, before Jarred Graham led out 50,000 from under the gun. Fu Wong folded before Noomis Jones tanked from the cut-off. He eventually called and Johnson folded as the {7-Diamonds} came on the turn. A bet of 70,000 was snap-called, before an all in river bet from Graham for 202,000 was snap-called as well.

“You get a quarter,” said Jones. “I mean, three quarters”.

Graham tabled {A-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{2-Spades}{K-Hearts} which was good for the high and half the low, as Jones’ conceded, tabling his {A-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{4-Spades}{9-Diamonds} for the remaining quarter.

Graham Dodges a Bullet

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Jarred Graham has found a lucky double to progress in this event.

He found himself all in pre-flop with {3-Hearts}{10-Spades}{A-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and trailing Joao Simao’s {A-Clubs}{3-Spades}{A-Spades}{9-Clubs}. However, the board ran out {q-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{9-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{J-Spades} to give Graham a straight, and the pot.

Wong Doubles Through Brokos

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Fu Wong was the shortest stack as we got down to our final two tables, so we knew he would be looking to get his chips in. Sure enough, he moved all in preflop holding {4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}, and was up against the {j-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{q-Clubs}{2-Spades} of Andrew Brokos. The flop came down {6-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}, and Brokos was in good shape. However, the {2-Clubs} on the turn gave Wong the nut low. He completed the perfect run out with a {5-Diamonds} on the river, giving him a straight, and just like that Wong scooped the pot for the full double.

Loren Klein Eliminated in 18th Place ($9,401)

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

We arrived just in time to see Andy Seth rake in a pot, as Loren Klein made his way to the rail. The board read {2-Spades}{K-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} with Seth's {K-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} tabled as the best hand.

He now moves up to just short of 400,000 in chips.

Simao's the King

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

We caught the action with Noomis Jones opening to 25,000 from under the gun, before Joao Simao raised to 90,000 from the button. Jones thought for over a minute, before making the call and then checking his option dark.

The flop came down {J-Spades}{5-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}, and Simao quickly announced “pot”. 195,000 was the amount, and Jones again went into the tank. He eventually folded, but no before tabling his {K-Hearts}{K-Spades}, to show Simao what he was folding. Simao then quickly tabled his {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} for the same pair, as he raked in the pot.

“I had more than that,” said Simao. “I had a nice hand.”

“Well I had nothing else.” “That’s why I folded.” Joked Jones.

Harwood in Seventh Heaven

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Nathan Weisner moved all in for his last 34,000 from the cut-off and was called by Loni Harwood on the big blind.

Weisner: {A-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Harwood: {2-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}

The flop came down {4-Hearts}{K-Spades}{7-Spades} which gave Weisner outs to the low, but the running {7-Hearts} and {7-Diamonds} filled Harwood up, as she scooped the pot.

Green Takes West Out

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

We were barely able to jot down the aftermath of the hand, and we missed what Tom West held, but we know that Perry Green busted him with {4-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{7-Spades} on a board that read {10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{3-Hearts}.

After taking that hand down, Green is up to 195,000.
