Le's Aces His Opponent Before the Break!

Level 8 : 200/400, 50 ante

Just before the break, Nam Le opened to 825, and was called by two of his opponents, before the player on the big blind, raised it up to 2,825. Le instantly grabbed for all his chips and moved all in, totalling 5,200 in chips. It quickly folded back around to the raiser, who paused for a second, before making the call.

Le: {A-Spades}{a-Clubs}
Opponent: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

The board ran out {j-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{k-Spades}{4-Spades}{j-Spades}, to see Le’s aces hold, as he doubled his stack.

Aguiar Coming Back

Level 8 : 200/400, 50 ante

We arrived just as the small blind checked his option, with the flop showing {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{4-Spades}. Jonathan Aguiar was on the big blind, and also checked, before the player in middle position, put out a bet of 1,800. There was one more player in the hand, and he opted to raise it up to 4,000, as the small blind got out of the way. With the action on Aguiar, he moved all in for his last 1,975, as the original better reluctantly folded his hand.

Aguiar: {K-Spades}{4-Clubs}
Opponent: {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}

Aguiar had flopped two-pair, which improved to a full house, when the board ran out the {j-Hearts} and {4-Hearts}.

Peters Takes From Liu

David Peters
David Peters

With the flop reading {3-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades}, J.J. Liu checked from middle position, before David Peters bet out 875. Liu quickly reached for chips, before throwing in a raise to 2,550. Peters made the call, as both players saw the {6-Diamonds} come on the turn. Liu checked, as Peters sat motionless, looking at the board and then at Liu’s stack. He eventually put in another bet of 2,575, which was enough to take down the pot, as Liu mucked her hand almost instantly.
