Bonomo Gets a Little From Ivey

Level 5 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

Justin Bonomo raised from the small blind, and Phil Ivey called in the big blind.

Bonomo drew one to Ivey's three, and Bonomo bet. Ivey casually flicked out a call.

Bonomo patted and had a bet out in front of him before Ivey's two cards had been dealt to him. Ivey peeked at his new holdings, then folded.

Gorodinsky Hates the River

Level 5 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Three players saw an {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{q-Spades} flop and the first two checked to Mike Gorodinsky in the cutoff. He bet and only Josh Arieh, on his right, called. Arieh check-called the {k-Diamonds} but then bet out on the {5-Spades} river.

Gorodinsky growled in frustration but forcefully placed in a chip about 30 seconds later. Arieh showed {9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Spades} for a rivered flush and took the pot.

"Lost the Minimum"

Level 5 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Eli Elezra put in a bet of 40,000 from the small blind on a completed board of {9-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{5-Hearts}. Daniel Negreanu called in middle position and Elezra showed {a-}{a-}. Negreanu shook his head and flashed {k-}{k-} before he mucked.

"Lost the minimum," he said.

Limit Hold'em

Mike Wattel raised on the button, and Anthony Zinno called in the big blind.

Zinno check-called a bet on the {10-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop, then led out on the {q-Clubs} turn. Wattel called.

The {k-Hearts} fell on the river, and Zinno bet again. Wattel raised, Zinno made it three bets, and Wattel made it four bets. Zinno called, only to muck after being shown {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} by Wattel.

Martini Climbing Back

Level 5 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em

From the button, Julien Martini bet the end with around 40,000 already in the pot and {q-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} on the felt. Michael Glick seemed torn in the small blind and eventually put in a call. Martini turned over {k-Spades}{q-Hearts} for top two and took the pot.

After being down under 30,000 a bit ago, Martini has given himself a fighting chance again despite remaining well below the starting stack.
