Pisarenko Takes One from Woodward

Level 21

No Limit Hold'em

The action was discovered on a board of {4-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades}{q-Spades} and Maksim Pisarenko had checked, allowing Matt Woodward to fire out a bet of 75,000 chips. After a few moments, Pisarenko called.

The river card brought a {5-Diamonds} and Pisarenko checked again. This time Woodward checked back and was shown the unfortunate news when Pisarenko tabled {6-Spades}{6-Hearts} for a rivered six high straight and was pushed the pot.

Thornton Scoops Perry

Level 21

Omaha 8 or Better

Sean Perry raised pre-flop to 30,000 from the small blind and was called by big blind Bradley Bragg and Schuyler Thornton in early position.

Perry bet the {10-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop and was called by both opponents. Action checked to Thornton on the {4-Spades} turn, and he bet 20,000. Only Perry called to see the {k-Spades} on the river.

Both players checked, and Thornton showed {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} for two pair, aces and fours, to take the pot.

"I played that hand so bad," Perry said as he handed over the sizeable pot to Thornton.

Bergin Eliminates Wolenik

Level 20

Pot Limit Omaha

Brandon Bergin started the action off with a raise. Marc Wolenik re-raised all-in and Bergin called. The hands were turned face up and it was Wolenik with {q-Clubs}{j-Spades}{10-Spades}{10-Clubs} versus the {8-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{k-Hearts} of Bergin.

The dealer flopped the {6-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}, and Wolenik took the lead with a set of tens; Bergin needed a final club to complete his nut flush.

The turn card of the {9-Spades} was no help to either player, but the dealer brought out a {k-Clubs} for the river which completed Bergin's flush and eliminated Wolenik in the process.

Mizrachi Fills Up in Stud

Level 20

Stud 8 or Better

Michael Mizrachi bet 10,000 on fourth street with a board of {q-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and Maksim Pisarenko to his right called. Mizrachi slowed down after being dealt the {3-Clubs}, then called a bet from Pisarenko.

Mizrachi hit the {a-Spades} on sixth street and check-raised to 40,000 after Pisarenko bet. Pisarenko called, then called another 20,000 bet on seventh street.

Mizrachi turned over {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{q-} for a full house, aces over queens, to take the big pot.

Perry Tanks, Then Knocks Out Su

Level 20

No-Limit Hold'em

Timothy Su raised all in for his last 40,000 from the button. In the big blind, Sean Perry tanked for several minutes, asking for a count and taking a few deep breaths as he considered the call.

He eventually gathered the chips to call and put them in the middle. He was ahead with {q-Hearts}{j-Spades} as Su showed {j-Hearts}{9-Clubs}. The {k-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{k-Spades} board provided no help to Su, and the 2019 Main Event finalist hit the rail.

Yuri Dzivielevski put out a bet with a board of {10-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Brad Albrinck raised with {j-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}. Dzivielevski called and was dealt the {5-Hearts}, while Albrinck received the {10-Diamonds}.

Albrinck bet again and Dzivielevski called. Both players checked on seventh street, with Albrinck turning over {2-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} for a 10-5 to take the pot.

Kerbel Takes One from Bohlman

Level 20

Pot Limit Omaha

Adam Kerbel raised pre flop to 8,000 and Scott Bohlman called and the two players went to the flop heads-up.

The dealer spread out the {3-Spades}{2-Clubs}{9-Spades} and Bohlman led out for 15,000 and was raised by Kerbel to 76,500. This sent Bohlman to the tank, but he opted to fold and Kerbel added even more chips to his stack.
