Gross Takes One to Amokrane

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Jeff Gross called on the button and Timo Kamphues completed his option. Mourad Amokrane potted to 48,000 and only Gross decided to call.

The flop revealed {5-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and both players checked. When the {6-Diamonds} hit the turn, Amokrane checked again and Gross bet 55,000. After some thinking, Amokrane made the call.

The {8-Hearts} paired the board on the river and brought no betting action. Gross announced "straight", showing {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and Amokrane tabled {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{k-Spades}{q-Clubs} before sending his cards into the muck.

Fauver Doubles on MacIntyre

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

John Fauver raised pot under the gun and it folded to Fraser MacIntyre who called in the big blind. Both players checked on the {7-Spades}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop.

Things heated on the {k-Spades} turn. MacIntyre potted, putting Fauver at risk for his last 64,000 and the latter called:

John Fauver: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{9-Spades}{5-Hearts}
Fraser MacIntyre: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

The {9-Hearts} completed the board and Fauver got the double up he needed with two pair.

All the chips went in the middle preflop between Ryan Terpstra and Joseph Di Rosa Rojas, at risk for a remaining stack worth 78,000.

Joseph Di Rosa Rojas: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}
Ryan Terpstra: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{8-Spades}

Rojas found no help throughout the {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades}{j-Hearts} board and was sent to the payout desk.

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

On a flop of {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} the action had checked around to Paulo Villena on the button who fired out a bet of 55,000 chips. Next, Miltiadis Kyriakides raised to 175,000. After a few minutes, Jeff Gross opted to call all-in for less and Villena folded.

The hands were tabled and it was the {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{9-Hearts} for top two pairs held by Gross that was at-risk and trailed the {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} for a nut flush held by Kyriakides.

The turn card was the {10-Hearts} and Kyriakides remained ahead.

The river {a-Spades}, however, filled up Gross with aces full of jacks, and he survived his all-in and was awarded the pot.

Small Double Up for Su

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

The action was picked up on a three-way pot with a flop {4-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}. Ryan Coon, in the big blind seat, potted and Timothy Su called all in for his last 60,000 while the third player got out of the way.

Timothy Su: {9-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades}
Ryan Coon: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}

Su had hit two pair, and improved his hand into a full house after the {6-Hearts} showed up on the turn. The {10-Diamonds} completed the board and Su took down the pot.
