Ivey Comes Out On Top vs Lamb

Level 9 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Phil Ivey raised to 10,000 in the hijack and was called by Shaun Deeb in the cutoff. Ben Lamb re-raised to 45,000 on the button and only Ivey called. Both players chose to draw a single card and the action was on Ivey.

After shuffling through his cards, Ivey checked and Lamb dropped in a bet of 60,000. Ivey snapped him off and Lamb showed a ten. Ivey turned over {9-}{8-}{6-}{5-}{4-} for a nine and was awarded the pot.

Dzivielevski Three-Quarters Shakerchi

Level 9 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better

Talal Shakerchi raised it up from the hijack and Yuri Dzivielevksi called from the small blind. The flop came {8-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts} and Dzivielevski led out with a bet. Shakerchi called and the {6-Clubs} landed on the turn.

Dzivielevski fired out another bet on the turn along with the {j-Clubs} on the river. Shakerchi called both streets and showed {a-Spades}{q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} for two pair and no low. Dzivielevksi tabled {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{8-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for the same two pair but also had a low to get three-quarters of the pot.

In a battle cutoff versus button, Benny Glaser checked the {10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{6-Spades} turn and then called a bet by Anthony Zinno from one seat over. Glaser checked again the {k-Hearts} on the river and Zinno quickly bet. Some twenty seconds later, Glaser folded and Zinno exposed one of his cards with the {6-Hearts}.

Pot-Limit Omaha

Chris Fraser is nowhere in sight anymore and there have also been large chip changes over on table 132 as well. Defending champion Dan Cates in the small blind called a pot-sized three-bet to 40,000 by Naoya Kihara in the big blind, who held the far biggest stack on their table.

Cates checked the {j-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and Kihara bet the pot for 94,000 total. Once Cates let go after some speech play, Kihara flashed at a pair of aces with at least one suit and one paint card.

Becker continued betting on fourth, fifth, and sixth street. On seventh, Becker squeezed his card and opted to check. Schwartz checked it back and showed {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{6-Spades} for kings up but Becker tabled {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{5-Spades} for trip aces.

Smith Busts Chait

Level 9 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Craig Chait
Craig Chait

No-Limit Hold'em

Dan Smith raised to 9,000 from under the gun and Craig Chait moved all-in for 10,000 on the button, which David Benyamine in the big blind and Smith called.

On a flop of {6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}, Benyamine bet 15,000 for Smith to call and the {9-Spades} turn was checked through. Benyamine check-folded the {j-Diamonds} river when Smith made it 30,000 to go and the latter revealed the {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} for nines and fives. Chait briefly exposed his {q-Spades}{7-Spades} and left the table with an "good luck guys".

Also no longer in contention is David Bach, who was previously one table over with a very short stack.
