Linde Beats Klodnicki at Showdown

Level 8

Omaha Hi-Lo

Dylan Linde raised from an early position and called a three-bet by Chris Klodnicki to see a flop of KJ4 on which he check-called a bet. Both checked the 8 on the turn and Linde then check-called the 9 river.

Klodnicki flashed his 10 first for a broadway and flush draw blocker, then exposed the A54 for a pair of fours and busted low draw. Linde had that beat with the AK1010 for a pair of kings and won the entire pot, as no low was possible.

Tournamen-ator Aborts Mission Versus Yockey and Brewer

Level 8
Dan Terminator Cates

Pot-Limit Omaha

After Bryce Yockey limped under the gun and Dan Cates did likewise to his immediate left, Chris Brewer raised it up to 22,000 on the button. Both opponents called and the trio went to the flop.

It came A6Q and everyone checked to the 10 turn where the action really began.

Yockey led out for 35,000 and got raised by Cates who made it 125,000 to go. Brewer then potted it to 486,000 which covered both opponents.

Yockey called off for about 300,000 and Cates quickly aborted his mission, sending his cards to the muck.

Bryce Yockey: KQQ6
Chris Brewer: KJ98

Each player had the Broadway straight, but each had plenty to go along with it, as Yockey had a set of queens and a flush draw, but Brewer had the better flush draw to the nuts.

The J fell on the river, preventing any more carnage, as Yockey and Brewer chopped up Cates' chips.

No Limit Hold 'em

There was an under the gun open by Julien Martini to 12,000 and Dylan Linde called in middle position. Action then folded to recent bracelet winner Chris Klodnicki in the small blind, who had just sat down, and he opted to three-bet big to 57,000. Martini quickly released his hand but after a moment in the tank, Linde called.

The AA3 flop hit the felt and Klodnicki bet out for 16,000. Linde paused for only a moment before sticking in the chips and the two were off to a 6 turn.

Klodnicki went into the tank for about a minute before settling on a turn sizing of 35,000. Linde called again.

The 9 river landed and Klodnicki went into the tank for over a minute before putting out a non-all-in sizing of 68,000, leaving about 55,000 behind. Linde folded fairly quickly and Klodnicki found a heap of chips early in his day.

Brewer Continues to Add Chips

Level 8

Pot-Limit Omaha

On the heads-up turn of Q644, Chris Brewer bet 65,000 into a pot of around 100,000 and Bryce Yockey on the button tank-folded.

Two hands later, recent addition Kristopher Tong opened to 11,000 and Cates called in the cutoff, as did Brewer in the big blind. The 763 flop saw Brewer lead for 16,000 and Tong folded while Cates called. The J turn was checked and Brewer bet the 9 river for 66,000.

Cates tanked for two minutes while giving his opponent a deep stare and then elected to fold without saying a word.

Besides Tong, Saya Ono has also entered the field and can now be found over on table 133.

Bleznick Cannot Shake Off Diebold

Level 8

Limit Hold'em
