A Whole Lot of Chip Counts

Level 8 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Joining the action on the J84A turn, Najeem Ajez checked and Ben Lamb bet 52,000. Ajez then check-raised the pot to 216,000 with few chips behind and Lamb folded.

Richard Gryko also won chips without showdown one table over when he potted to 42,000 in the single big blind. Christopher Frank called on the button but folded the K103 flop to a bet of 45,000.

Action was picked up with two players seeing a board of 539. Martin Dam had started the hand with around 200,000 and was all in against Daniel Negreanu who had a covering stack.

Negreanu was ahead of Dam's aces with two pair and remained so when the rest of the board ran out 8K to send Dam to the rail and take the pot.

Chidwick Takes from Lonis

Level 7 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

In a pot of more than 100,000 chips, Jesse Lonis bet 55,000 from middle position on a flop of 1029. Stephen Chidwick called in the cutoff before both checked the 7 turn.

The A river was also knuckled and Lonis tabled AK44 for a pair of aces. Chidwick played AKJ9 for two pair, however, and took down the pot.

Keijzer Essentially Doubles

Ronald Keijzer bet the K76 flop for 30,000 and then bet the pot on the 3 turn for 96,000, which Billy Tarango called. Just before the 4 river appeared, Keijzer moved all in blind for 12,000 and Tarango folded.

One hand later, Jeffrey Landherr raised to 12,000 and folded when Tarango three-bet the pot off his short stack.

Artur Martirosian opened to 12,000 on the cutoff and Anuj [Removed:550] three-bet to 42,000 from the button. Martirosian made the call.

The flop came AK2 and Martirosian check-called a 25,000 continuation bet from [Removed:550].

Both players checked the J turn leading to the 5 river. Martirosian fired a pot-sized bet of 144,000 and [Removed:550] mucked.

Garza Ships Big Against Tarango

Level 7 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

On a turn of 77J6, Billy Tarango and Lou Garza each piled in 130,000 or so chips before heading to a 6 river.

Tarango then checked before Garza shipped in his entire stack of roughly 300,000 chips.

Tarango mulled it over but eventually mucked, leaving Garza to stack up his new chips.

Anthony Zinno opened to 10,000 from the button, Dan Cates came back with a pot-sized raise from the button, Zinno four-bet shoved for 96,000 and Cates called with a covering stack to put Zinno at risk.

Zinno's kings were ahead preflop and remained so when the board ran out 326710 giving Zinno a full double up through Cates.

Ribeiro Straight Up Doubles

Christopher Frank, Petko Tsakov, and Tomas Ribeiro were on a flop of 657, which they all checked. On the 5 turn, Frank checked from the small blind again, after which Tsakov bet 80,000 from early position.

Ribeiro made the call on the button before Frank mucked his cards. The 8 river saw Tsakov jam all in and Ribeiro snap called for his stack of 134,000.

Tsakov turned over KJ87 for a bluff with two pair, while Ribeiro played a straight with his AA97 and doubled up.
