Smith Puts in a Massive Shove

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Elliot Smith
Elliot Smith

Around 30,000 was in the pot as Elliot Smith and an opponent saw the turn on a board of 4267.

The cutoff then bet 20,000 before Smith, in early position, moved all in for 75,000. His opponent went deep into the tank, taking several minutes to consider the decision.

Smith spent the time kneeling on the ground as his opponent continued to tank. The cutoff eventually apologized to the table and slid his cards back to the dealer as Smith took down the pot.

Chris Hunichen and Daniel Lowery were recently eliminated from this section.

Scheck's Stack Gets Decked by Lynn's Boat

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Action folded around to the blinds, where Glenn Scheck called from the small and Peter Lynn raised to 3,000 in the big. Scheck called.

Lynn called a 2,000 bet from Scheck on the K77 flop and and then Scheck check-called a 6,000 bet from Lynn on the 10 turn.

The 3 completed the board and Scheck checked once more. Lynn fired 18,000 into the middle and Scheck stuck in a call. Lynn tabled 107 for a full house and Scheck sent his hand into the muck.

Dicesare Cannot Call Yutuc

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

A handful of times, the dealers vividly asked for the floor to come over to the table as the clock had been called with one player in a long tank. One of such occasions had unfolded on table 535 on which the turn showed 922Q.

Vincent Dicesare bet 15,000 in the small blind into around 44,000 and George Yutuc then pushed from the button. Deep in the tank, the 30 extra seconds for Dicesare ran down as he asked "what do you have?"

Yutuc replied "why would I tell you that" as the table laughed.

The countdown ran to zero and Dicesare's hand was dead. Yutuc smacked the J9 on the table to leave his neighbour flabbergasted.

"Nice hand, nice bet," Yutuc concluded.

Assorted Counts Horseshoe Ballroom

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Donnie Phan recalled a hand in which his aces were cracked by the ace-king of John Hill with the latter making running clubs for a flush. "I even have a picture of it!" Phan said and was hoping to make it into the coverage. He currently has around 25 big blinds at his disposal in the blue section of the Horseshoe Ballroom.
