Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Scott Blumstein
Scott Blumstein

Scott Blumstein jammed all-in for the last 109,000 from an early position and was called by Ala Aqel in the small blind.

The A3 of Blumstein were up against 77 and turned a wheel draw on Q924. Instead, it was the old-fashioned Barry Greenstein to the rescue on the A river to keep the former Main Event champ in contention.

Aram Zobian: JJ

A preflop cooler in von Kriegenbergh's favor, the board ran out 792KA and he doubled up.

Aldemir Finds a Miraculous Double

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Koray Aldemir
Koray Aldemir

Koray Aldemir opened to 20,000 from under the gun before an opponent in middle position three-bet to 55,000. Action folded back around to Aldemir, who took some time reaching a decision. His opponent, meanwhile, was busy getting his phone ready to film the hand. Aldemir opted to flat to generate a sizable pot before the flop.

The flop came 339, prompting Aldemir to check. The middle position player continued for 40,000, then called with the slightly larger stack after Aldemir responded by moving all in for 178,000.

Koray Aldemir: 1010 All in
Middle Position Player: KK

Aldemir was in terrible shape with his tournament life on the line, that is until a miraculous 10 rolled off the deck on the turn. The 4 river completed the board to hand Aldemir a huge double while leaving the middle position player with dust.

Beka Iordanishvili: KQ All in
Shyngis Satubayev: 77

Iordanishvili took a big lead on the AJQ flop, but it was short-lived as the 7 turn gave Satubayev a set before the 9 river confirmed Iordanishvili's elimination.

Barer Busts One

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Ami Barer had opened from under the gun and was called by the player on the button and Kevin Butler in the big blind. The flop came A43 and was checked to the button.

The button then jammed all in for his final ten blinds or so. Butler folded but Barer snap-called.

Button: AQ All in
Ami Barer: QJ

Barer had flopped a flush and left the button drawing dead on the K turn. The K river did not matter as another yell for payouts could be heard across the room.

Ambrose Brooks

Ambrose Brooks raised to 21,000 in the cutoff before Ihar Soika moved all in for 85,000 on the button. Brooks called to put Soika at risk.

Ihar Soika: KQ All in
Ambrose Brooks: Q6

Soika had Brooks dominated and was poised for a double up as the AQ4 flop gave both players a pair of queens. Soika was still ahead with his king kicker and remained in the lead on the 3 turn, but the 8 river gave Brooks a flush and sent Soika to the rail.
