Freedlander Hits Quads on Zlotnikov

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

On a heads-up flop of J76, all the chips got into the middle between Dean Freedlander and Anatoliy Zlotnikov, with Freedlander at risk of elimination.

Dean Freedlander: KJJ7All in
Anatoliy Zlotnikov: 9873

Freedlander had the lead with his top set of jacks, but he had a lot to dodge as Zlotnikov had a straight and flush combo draw.

And just like that, the turn A gave Zlotnikov the lead with a flush, but the hand wasn't over yet as the river came the J to give Freedlander quads to take the pot in dramatic fashion.

David Shaw

David Shaw opened to 25,000 and was called only by David Docherty to see a flop of QA3. Shaw continued for 25,000 and Docherty called to continue to the turn 9, which saw the action go check-check.

On the river 10, Shaw bet the pot for 115,000 and Docherty went into the tank for over a minute before he decided to let it go.

The very next hand, Shaw got it all in on the flop against Jesse Yaginuma and ultimately sent him to the rail to add his stack to his growing pile.
