2025 World Series of Poker
Players are on a 15-minute break.
Daniel Strelitz opened from under the gun to 6,000,000 and Michael Acevedo called in the small blind. Elliott Kampen also called out of the big blind.
They saw a flop of 3♠J♥6♠ and when it checked to Strelitz, he fired 7,500,000. Acevedo folded and Kampen called.
A 5♣ fell on the turn and after Kampen tapped the table again, Strelitz awkwardly fired in 12,000,000, knocking over his chip stack in the process. Kampen didn't read into it and quickly folded.
Yu Hsiang Huang limped from the button and snap called Michael Wilklow's small blind jam for 121,000,000.
Yu Hsiang Huang: A♠K♦
Michael Wilklow: 8♥8♦
The flop came 10♥A♦K♣ and Huang was way out in front, flopping two pair.
However, the turn brought the Q♣ and the river came the J♦ to complete a sick run out and make a straight on the board, and the players chopped the pot.
Elliott Kampen opened the cutoff to 6,000,000 and Jeffrey Hong called in the big blind.
The flop came 3♣2♦2♥ where Hong check-called a bet of 3,000,000 from Kampen to the K♣ turn. Again Hong went into check-call mode after Kampen fired 6,000,000.
Both checked the K♠ river and Hong took it down with a full house showing K♥5♠.
Daniel Strelitz raised to 6,000,000 from middle position, action was folded around to Cameron Blazevich in the small blind who went in all in for 18,400,000 and was at risk. After some time to ponder his decision Strelitz decided on a call and the hands were tabled.
Cameron Blazevich: 3♦3♣
Daniel Strelitz: A♥8♦
The board ran out J♠8♠8♣4♥6♥ sending Blazevich to the payout desk in 13th place.
Level: 42
Blinds: 1,500,000/3,000,000
Ante: 3,000,000
Diana Allen raised to 5,000,000 from early position.
Linda Ngo in the small blind then moved all in for 44,000,000. Allen called for her remaining 36,000,000.
Diana Allen: A♠J♣
Linda Ngo: 9♦9♥
No help for Allen on the 6♦10♣K♣ flop, and when the 8♣ fell on the turn, she needed to hit an ace, jack, or a club on the river to stay alive.
No such luck with the 2♦ brick coming on the river, and Allen was eliminated in 14th place.
Michael Marks raised to 9,000,000 from under the gun, Linda Ngo made the call from the button, and the two players were off to see a flop. The dealer fanned a K♥10♣8♥ flop, Marks went all in for roughly 24,000,000, and Ngo snap called.
Michael Marks: A♠A♣
Linda Ngo: A♦K♣
The turn was the 7♥ and the river was the 7♣, securing a much-needed double up for Marks.
Elliott Kampen opened to 5,000,000 on the button and Linda Ngo called from the big blind.
The flop came 2♦10♥J♣ and Ngo led out for 6,000,000, which Kampen called to see the 8♥ drop on the turn. Again Ngo continued to fire, this time for 8,000,000. Kampen announced a raise and slid forward 28,000,000, and Ngo wasted no time in making the call.
A Q♠ dropped on the river and after Ngo checked, Kampen quickly checked back. Ngo showed 8♣7♣ for a pair of eights, but Kampen flipped J♥10♣ for two pair to scoop the pot.
