Wang Double Up Through Van Leeuwen

Rhett Van Leeuwen raised from the cut off to 25,000 and Pengfei Wang moved all in from the big blind for approximately 150,000.

The flop came 935 and it looked like Wang was going to be sent to the rail.

The turn brought the 8 but then the K fell on the river which saved Wang and gave him a double up.

David Stefanski was all in preflop and at risk against Ian Gavlick in a classic coin flip situation.

The flop came 756 with Stefanski's pair of eights still in the lead. That was until Gavlick pulled ahead on the Q turn, pairing his queen.

The river landed the 9 and Stefanski improved to a straight to earn the much needed double up.

Huge Pot for Bromberg

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Pablo Ching raised in the cutoff to 25,000, Johnny Bromberg three-bet to 125,000 from the big blind, Ching called.

Action went check-check when the flop came A22, Bromberg bet 60,000 when the 8 hit the turn, Ching called.

Bromberg decided to bet 150,000 when the 2 fell on the river. Ching when deep into the tank before he eventually called and Bromberg tabled A4 for the full house and he scooped the pot.

Firestone Forces a Fold with River Raise

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

With around 80,000 already in the pot and the board reading 99710, Shenmolesky, in the big blind, led out with a bet of 30,000. Firestone on the button didn’t take long to call and the two went to the river.

The 6 completed the board, and Shenmolesky kept up the pressure with a sizable bet of 100,000. Firestone took a brief pause before coming over the top with a raise to 350,000. The pressure was too much, Shenmolesky quickly let it go.

The flop came 472, and Kabrhel check-called Johnson's 12,000 continuation-bet.

The turn brought the 4, and again Kabrhel check-called Johnson's 26,000 bet.

The 7 fell on the river, and again Kabrhel checked. Johnson bet out 60,000 this time.

Kabrhel asked for the bet size and then counted out his chips multiple times before throwing in the call.

Johnson tabled A8 for ace-high, and Kabrhel turned over 99 and was pushed the pot.

Blackwelder A No-Show

Forrest Blackwelder, the overall chip leader after the first day of play, has yet to arrive for Day 2.

Blackwelder, who has never cashed in a WSOP event before this one, missed the entire Level 18, and has had some 200,000 chips blinded off his stack in his absence.

Morales Makes Big Fold

Andres Morales raised to 24,000 on the button and Chad Layne made it 106,000 to go out of the small blind.

Facing a bet that represented almost half of his stack, Morales thought for a moment before folding pockets tens face up.

Layne indicated that they were flipping and the pot was pushed his way.
