Sitbon's Boat Gashes Mateos

Level 4 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

A raising war preflop began the hand when Julien Sitbon's re-raise to 19,000 was met with a four-bet from Adrian Mateos to 45,000. Sitbon came along with a call.

Sitbon led out for 20,000 on the Q36 flop, and Mateos called.

Sitbon checked, and Mateos bet 15,000 on the 3 turn, which led to a call from Sitbon.

Both players checked the 10 river.

Sitbon showed QQ for a full house to win the pot.

Wantman Takes it Down

Level 4 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Matthew Wantman raised in the cutoff to 6,000 and Robert Natividad called on the button.

Wantman continued for 5,500 on the 104J flop and Natividad called. Wantman slowed down on the A turn, check-calling a bet of 12,500 from Natividad.

The 2 river did very little to change the board and both players checked.

Gomez Flips Negreanu to the Rail

Level 4 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Theologis Gets Paid on River

Level 4 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Alexandros Theologis opened the hand with a raise to 6,000 from the cutoff. Byron Kaverman called from the button, and Dohyeok Kim came along from the big blind.

All three players checked the A29 flop.

Kim checked the 5 turn before Theologis fired 5,500, which caused Kaverman to fold.

Matakis Finds the Call

Level 4 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

With 97,000 chips in the middle and a board showing 42JQ, Dylan Linde slid out a stack of chips, enough to put Ian Matakis all in, should he decide to call.

Matakis took his time to consider the options, but after using two time banks, he chose to call.

Ian Matakis: 88 All in
Dylan Linde: AK

Matakis had made the correct call, but Linde still had many outs to take the lead. The 8 wasn't one of them, though, and Matakis found the full double up.
