David McGowan raised preflop to 240,000 under the gun and got a reraise of Ian O'Hara to his left. O'Hara made it to 575,000 and McGowan called.
They both checked the A♣8♥8♣ flop, leading them to the turn. After asking how much O'Hara had behind, McGowan bet 1,100,000, a little less than the amount O'Hara answered.
O'Hara surrendered both his hand and the pot to McGowan.

Darner had two players all in and at risk with the final table looming, and maintained the lead on the 8♣5♣J♦ flop.
However, the Q♥ turn propelled O'Hara into the lead, and when the river peeled the 9♦, this crucial pot was pushed in the direction of O'Hara as Crane headed to the payout desk.
Alexander Greenblatt raised the cutoff to 300,000. A player in the small blind called before Ian O'Hara three-bet to 570,000, leaving just 85,000 behind.
Greenblatt responded by moving all in, forcing the small blind to fold, and when a pay jump looked unlikely for O'Hara, he called.

No bad beat this time though as the board ran out 3♣4♦K♥5♣3♥, giving O'Hara the double up and some.
Ian O'Hara raised to 240,000 in middle position before seeing Mark Darner move all in behind him for 2,225,000. Action folded back to O'Hara, who made the call.

Darner was both at risk and dominated, an unwanted combination.
Alas, the deck came through for him. The flop came out 3♥J♦5♠, and when O'Hara couldn't improve on the 9♣ turn or 4♥ river, Darner's double-up was confirmed.
Zhi Yang open-shoved for around 1,000,000 and got called by Yaroslav Ohulchanskyi.

Ohulchanskyi's tens held on the board 2♥J♠5♥6♠6♦ ending Yang's deep run.
Zhi Yang shoved all in for 955,000 in the small blind after Christopher Puetz opened for 240,000. Puetz called heading to a showdown.

The board ran J♦7♣Q♣J♣7♦ and resulted with a split pot between the two players.
Yaroslav Ohulchanskyi opened for 240,000 and got two callers in Christopher Puetz on the button and Zhi Yang in the big blind.
The trio saw a K♥Q♣3♦ flop and with action passed to him, Puetz fattened the pot with a 225,000 bet. Yang folded but Ohulchanskyi stayed on.
The turn 2♠ fell and Ohulchanskyi checked once again. Cranking up the heat, Puetz fired 675,000 which was enough to make Ohulchanskyi fold.
Ryan Wolfson open-shoved in the small blind for a little less than 2,000,000 and got called by big blind Jon Vallinas taking them to showdown.

Wolfson had a chance to double up when he spiked a pair on the 4♦J♦6♦ flop. The turn 4♥ didn't change anything.
But his hopes of staying longer in the tournament were dashed when the A♠ dropped on the river giving Vallinas the better pair. Wolfson left the table as the chips were shipped towards Vallinas's direction.
Jon Vallinas opened to 200,000 and got called by the button Christopher Puetz.
The flop came K♦3♥Q♠. Vallinas led with 175,000, which Puetz called. Keeping the heat high, Vallinas fired 650,000 on the 3♣ turn. Unfazed, Puetz called again.
Both players checked the river 10♦. Vallinas showed A♥7♦ for ace-high and Puetz tabled K♠J♦ for kings-up to take the pot.
