Keserich Heads Home

Level 20 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Matthew Keserich opened to 26,000 under the gun, before seeing a shove from cutoff James Jeffrey, to the tune of 126000. Jon Turner then announced, "Oh Baby," and got his 100,000 stack in as well. Keserich paused before deciding to go bounty hunting, and made the call.

Jon Turner: 1010 All in
James Jeffrey: AQ All in
Matthew Keserich: A10

The board ran out J6Q2Q as Jeffrey tripled, Turner went home, and Keserich was left with just 41,000.

The very next hand, Keserich folded his big blind, and the hand after he had only 1,000 behind after posting his small blind. Weizheng Zhong raised to 32,000, Keserich flicked in his remaining 1,000, and Drake Kemper called. After pots were sorted out, the players went to a flop of J76

Kemper bet just 20,000 on the flop, and Zhong called. After being checked to on the 2 turn, Zhong bet 55,000, and Kemper quickly check-shoved to put Zhong at risk, as he put in the call.

Matthew Keserich: 102 All in
Weizheng Zhong: KK All in
Drake Kemper: Q7

Zhong managed to fade everything on the 7 river, as he picked up a bounty and stayed alive.

Vayssieres Gets a Triple

Level 20 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Vayssieres open shoved 60,000 from under the gun, before Rodrigo Zouvi then shoved for 135,000, and Francisco Moreno Gonzales did the same in the small blind, for 219,000. The big blind player made the fold.

Nicolas Vayssieres: AQ All in
Rodrigo Zouvi: KQ All in
Francisco Moreno Gonzales: AK

Moreno Gonzales was way out in the lead, even more so due to his opponent's outs being blocked, but that didn't matter as the board ran out 6Q1078 leaving Vayssieres to scoop the main pot, tripling up, and Zouvi to take in the side pot, as his chip count stayed almost identical. Gonzales, left with only seven big blinds, ended up busting out just a few hands later.

Massive Cooler Near Money Bubble of WSOP's Biggest Buy-In So Far

Level 20 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Ben Tollerene
Ben Tollerene

One of the biggest coolers we'll see at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) took place in the biggest buy-in event so far this summer.

Aces versus kings is always a brutal set-up, but a set-over-set involving those two premium holdings is as painful as it gets. But that's exactly what happened near the money bubble on Day 2 of Event #32: $50,000 High Roller.

PokerNews' Calum Grant captured the hand between Ben Tollerene and Joey Weissman, which took place at the end of Level 13 with blinds of 15,000/30,000/30,000 and 34 players remaining with 26 spots paid.

Nick Rigby

Nicholas Rigby open jammed from the button for his last 120,000 and was called by Andrew Hawksby in the big blind.

Nicholas Rigby: 66All in
Andrew Hawksby: K10

A nasty flop for Rigby, which came K57 to send Hawksby into the lead, but when the 6 came on the turn, Hawksby was drawing dead and Rigby was shipped the pot and a full double up when the 4 came on the river.

Portaleoni Makes Nice Call to Eliminate Liddell

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Rodrigo Portaleoni raised to 25,000 from the hijack. Only Jacob Liddell called from the big blind.

The action went check-check on the K97 flop. Then on the K turn, Liddell led out for 30,000. Portaleoni called.

The river came the 5, and Liddell moved all in. Portaleoni thought for a moment, and then eventually made the call.

Liddell showed the A4 for a bluff, while Portaleoni revealed the A9 to win the pot, eliminate Liddell, and win a bounty.
