Chop Chop

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Peter Charalambous raised from under the gun, and middle position Jeremy Dresch three-bet to 22,000. Action got all the way back round to Charalambous, who then made an almost 9x shove for 180,000. Due to the size of the shove, Dresch found himself in the blender, unsure on whether to call or fold. After apologising to the table for tanking, he did eventually put in the call.

Peter Charalambous: AK All in
Jeremy Dresch: AK

"Why didn't you fold?" questioned Charalambous, as he could've picked up some chips uncontested. "In your spot I would've folded", he continued as the board ran out J4427 and the players split the blinds.

Esposito Takes from White

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

The flop came QQA and both checked to the J turn.

Esposito checked, White bet 15,000 and Esposito called.

They were taken to the 5 river and Esposito checked. White bet 45,000 which sent Esposito into the tank.

He checked his hand a number of times and took around two minutes to call.

White showed A2 for a pair of aces, but Esposito had K10 for the straight.

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Approximately over 250,000 was in the pot on the river on a board that read 106989. Chad Lipton chose to ship his stack for 294,000 into Francisco Fragoso.

Fragoso took some time in the tank before making the call.

Lipton showed four of a kind with 99. Fragoso shook his head in disappointment and revealed he had 1010 for a full house as a monster pot went Lipton's way.

Espositio Eliminates Two Players With Pocket Queens

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Action unfolded in a preflop battle involving three players, each having all their chips in the middle, hoping to win big.

Alan Wentz: AK All in
Walter Ripper: AK All in
John Esposito: QQ

The dealer spread a flop of 410J. The two players with Ace-King were now rooting for a Queen, but the dealer provided no assistance on the 7 turn and 4 river. With that, Ripper and Wentz were eliminated from Event #40, while Esposito’s stack surged to the top of the leaderboard.
