2025 World Series of Poker
Joseph Mole raised to 5,000 from middle position and was called by Julio Belluscio from the small blind.
The dealer fanned a 10♥5♦Q♦ flop and both players checked.
The turn was the A♣, Belluscio checked, Mole bet 6,000, and Belluscio called.
Action checked through on the J♥ river. Belluscio tabled A♦Q♣, which was the winning hand this time around.
David Gonzalez had already opened from a middle position and got a call from Hans Bosman in the cutoff. Howard Feingold moved all in from the small blind for around 11,000. Gonzalez re-raised to 11,500 to cover and Bosman folded, leaving the players to go heads-up.
Howard Feingold: 10♦Q♦
David Gonzalez: 8♥8♣
Feingold picked up a pair of tens on the 10♠J♠8♠ flop, but Gonzalez had hit a set of eights keeping him ahead.
The 7♣ turn saw Feingold celebrate as he thought he has secured the straight, but not realising there wasn't a nine on the board.
Feingold saw the 5♣ river and was still convinced he has won the hand, but another player at the table said, "wait, what straight?" and Feingold realised he had lost and was eliminated from the tournament.
Cards were on their backs preflop as Daniel Defreitas and John Juanda clashed in an all-in that put Juanda at risk.
John Juanda: A♣J♦
Daniel Defreitas: 10♦10♠
Juanda failed to improve on the Q♦9♠3♦2♣6♥ board to be eliminated from the tournament.
Michael Gilbert raised to 7,000 from early position, and Howard Mash called from middle position before Jayson Nosack went all in for roughly 90,000 from the cutoff. Gilbert then pushed all in himself for approximately 105,000. Mash took a moment before sliding his chips into the middle.
Jayson Nosack: J♠J♦
Michael Gilbert: Q♠Q♦
Howard Mash: A♣K♣
The board ran out 9♠7♠Q♣7♦7♣. Gilbert's gigantic triple-up has vaulted him near the top of the chip rankings in Event # 40.
Action folded around to Daniel Forte who limped the small blind. Ron West moved all in from the big blind for around 70,000. Forte took some time before making the call, only just covering West's stack.
Ron West: A♦A♣
Daniel Forte: K♦K♣
West's pocket aces were good on the 10♥3♥J♥10♦8♠ board and secured himself the double.
Forte was left with around 2 big blinds after the hand and was seen walking away from the tournament area just a few hands later.
Peter Charalambous began the hand with a raise to 6,000 on the button and was re-raised by Jose Velador. Charalambous responded with jam and was called by Velador.
Jose Velador: K♥Q♠
Peter Charalambous: J♦J♥
Velador found no help on the 9♦5♥2♠5♠9♣ board to be sent to the rail.
Ariel Abbatiello open-shoved for 21,000 from under the gun and Guoliang Wei called from an early position. Mark Mache re-jammed for around 80,000 and Wei folded.
Ariel Abbatiello: A♥K♥
Mark Mache: A♣Q♦
Abbatiello was ahead and things stayed that way on the 10♠4♣10♥6♥9♥ runout, securing him the double.
