Kalas Hangs On

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Kane Kalas found himself all in preflop, with two callers: Jon Vallinas and Daniel Vargas. Kalas was in with a chance of tripling up, by taking down the main pot of 21,000. Vargas and Vallinas also had a side pot worth 15,000.

The final board read 710KJ4 as action had checked all the way to the river. Before all the cards were on their backs, Kalas had shown KJ and started scooping the main pot, knowing he was good. Vargas' A4 lost out in the side pot to Vallinas' A10.
